‘Gabriel Ernest’was my graduation project for my MA in Film making, from The London Film School. I wrote and directed and did various bits of post-production too (colour, titles, effects). The film was shot on a Sony FX1, using a Redrock Micro 35mm adapter with Olympus stills lenses. We also shot some bits on a Canon 1014XLS Super 8mm cine camera. All the footage was then transcoded to DVCProHD for post production. The film was edited with Final Cut Pro and colour correction was done initially in Shake, then effects were done using Nattress filters in FCP. Titles were made in Motion.Audio post-production was done largely at Pinewood Studios and I’m delighted to say that our re-recording mixer, Richard Pryke, won the 2009 Oscar for his work on ‘Slumdog Millionaire’.  WELL DONE RICHARD!
